My name is Kathie and I own ACS WebServices. Early in the days the web was developing I struggled to find someone I could rely on. My first site was created by me in 1996 but I paid someone else for the hosting. I never knew what was really happening and why I lost a domain to someone in the US that I’d really wanted – even though I believed I’d ordered it first (You couldn’t order domains yourself in those days but had to go through registered suppliers). It was the late 1990s. And then my website got defaced in a very bad way and I found that the hosting service I was using didn’t change their passwords whenever a staff member left. So I left and found a new hosting service on the other side of the country.  As I brought customer, after customer along, the host offered to set me up as a reseller and I’ve never looked back. I now have 3 servers set up so that I can be sure if one goes down, only a small number of clients do – for a short period of time. And I also provide domain registration services.  I like to look after each client and give them personal service. And behind me are the service providers that support me in the back end.

You can be assured that I will respond to your email or call, as soon as I possibly can. I do need to sleep sometime or be away from the office, however if I’m away on extended leave, I ensure I have back up support in my absence.

Once a site is set up generally very little else needs to be done on my behalf – unless you need me to handle the regular updates and maintenance.  There is a maintenance support package available, if so.
